The opening credits show various photographic and pictorial sights as well as Oklahoma landmarks superimposed on the New York landscape: Sioux Indian Chief Statue "Touch the Clouds" wears War Bonnet and Bone Choker atop Brooklyn BridgeGolden Driller Statue on Statue of LibertyRoute 66 Western Gateway Arch placed on Major Manhattan "Avenue". In New York, in the Manhattan district, there are several numbered "avenues" which are intersected by streets with smaller numbers. Sylvester Stallone absolutely slays in Tulsa King!
Sheridan continues to hit home run after home run
For Stallone to do a TV show, you knew it had to be a good script and of course it would be with Taylor Sheridan as made. He is the best thing going on TV right now with amazing series like Yellowstone, 1883, Mayor of Kingstown, etc. And movies like Sicario, Hell or High Water and Wind River.
I mean come on?
Everything he touches turns to gold. Also, one of the other writers is Terence Winter who wrote series like The Sopranos & Boardwalk Empire. There was no way this show was going to be bad with those two at the helm.
Stallone plays a very likable tough guy to perfection
It has everything you want in a good series…drama, violence, comedy, etc. Check out our review of "Yellowstone" Season 5, Episode 2, "Squid Game" Season 2 and more of the most anticipated new series returning to TV and streaming.
