Set 183 years before the events of the original The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim film trilogy, it tells the story of the fate of the legendary King of Rohan, Helm Hammerhand. A sudden attack by Wulf, a cunning and ruthless Dunlending lord seeking revenge for his father’s death, forces Helm and his men to make a defiant last stand at the ancient fortress of Hornburg, which later rises to a mighty fortress known as Helm’s Deep. Helm’s daughter Hera, finding herself in an increasingly desperate situation, must muster the will to lead the resistance against a deadly enemy bent on destroying them.
